The BlackVue OBD-II cable plugs into your vehicle's OBD-II port (on-board diagnostics port) for power, offering parking mode recording without the need to hardwire the dash cam to your fuse box.
 
Please note that there is a delay up to 10 minutes after shutting off the vehicle for the dash cam to switch to parking mode. If you prefer an instant switch, we recommend installing using a hardwire kit instead.
 
Battery voltage monitor and timer cut off will work as usual with all BlackVue dash cams. Please ensure that your dash cam is updated to the latest firmware version to ensure compatibility.
