How long does a dash cam installation take?
Installation usually takes about 1 hour for a 1-channel (front only) setup, or 1.5–2 hours for a 2-channel (front and rear) setup. Times can vary depending on the vehicle, so we recommend contacting us for an exact estimate.
Will my dash cam be hardwired?
Yes, we do offer hardwire installation services. Please note that a hardwiring kit is required. If you don't have a hardwiring kit, we may be able to supply one (for a fee), depending on the brand of the dash cam.
Can I bring my own dash cam?
Yes, you are welcome to supply your own dash cam for the install. We can install most brands and models, but we generally recommend choosing a reputable brand such as VIOFO, BlackVue, FineVu, or Thinkware for their reliability and long-term performance.
One key benefit of purchasing your dash cam from us is our all-inclusive warranty, which covers both the dash cam and installation labour. If the camera is found to be defective, the labour required to reinstall it is covered as well.
